William Davis "Dave" Williams

September 29, 1937 — February 19, 2026

Springerville

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of William Davis “Dave” Williams, who was born September 29, 1937 in Springerville, Arizona and departed this life Thursday, February 19, 2026. Dave left an indelible legacy of kindness, dedication and love, touching the hearts of all who knew him.

Dave was the son of William “Bill” Milton Williams and Sara Katherine DeMoss Williams.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Myra White and his daughter, Linda.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Ginger, daughter, Randa, two grandchildren and his brother, Barry.

Dave grew up in Springerville and graduated from Round Valley High School before earning a degree from Arizona State University. He proudly served his country as an Army veteran. Dave dedicated much of his professional life to public service as a contracting officer with the U. S. Forest Service. After retiring from the Forest Service he continued to share his expertise by developing and teaching contracting courses to both public and private sector professionals.

Dave actively served his community as a member of the Navopache Electric Co-op Board of Directors, serving as Board Chair for several years. He was President of the White Mountain Historical Society caring and maintaining the Springerville Historical Park and was also an elder with the Community Presbyterian Church, working on several church committees and was a member of the Springerville Rotary Club.

Dave will be deeply missed, but the love he gave and the lessons he taught will remain with us always.
