William Arlin Jaynes, Jr.

February 24, 1927 — April 26, 2019

William Arlin Jaynes, Jr., 92, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at his home in Greer. He was born February 24, 1927 in Hinton, Oklahoma, the son of William Arlin Jaynes, Sr. and Unity Ann Wheeler Jaynes.

William served his country in the United States Army Air Corps/United States Air Force from 1946-1949 and was an Operating Engineer for Union Local 12, retiring in 1981

William is survived by his wife, Dolores Joan Jaynes, Greer; and daughter, Kimberly Ann Jaynes, Greer; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, D wward, Christine, Wynema, Lois, Jack and Jesse.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagar Cemetery. Interment will follow the graveside services.
