Timmy “Tim” Ray Rainey, 72, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026 in Eagar, Arizona. He was born in 1954 in Odessa, Texas, the son of Lee & Zeke Rainey.

Tim loved to fish and play his guitar and spend time with his grandkids. Tim was a correctional officer for the State of Arizona for 22 years, retiring in 2016. He also served his country in the United States Navy from 1972-1979 and was a Vietnam veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry, Eagar; son, Timothy, Colorado; brother, Zeke; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry, grandmother, Francis and grandfather, Gene.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 23, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the VFW, Eagar.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made the VFW in Eagar.
