Terri Ann Charles

Terri Ann Charles, 52, passed away, Thursday, February 15, 2024 after a very difficult journey of metastatic throat cancer at her home in Tucson, Arizona. She was born May 31, 1971 to Rodney and Laura Lilly in Mesa, Arizona.

During her lifetime she lived in Chandler, Payson, Lakeside and Tucson, Arizona. She also resided in Las Vegas, Nevada, Knoxville, Tennessee, Pinos Altos, New Mexico and finally her home in Tucson.

Terri was married to Shane Charles in December of 1987 and had 2 children together, Camrin James Charles and Shawnte Brianne Charles, during their 13-year marriage. Later, she and John Kilmer became partners and remained so until her death. They had one child together, Jordon Le Kilmer, who was born April 20, 2003.

Terri was preceded in death by her grandparents, brother, Timothy Shane Lilly in 2016 and her dad Rodney Max Lilly in 2019.

She is survived by her mother, Laura (Brian) Rockwell, brother, Rodney Tyrone (Tiffany) Lilly, sisters, Tammi Lyn Hilkins, Trisha Kay (Chris) Gasper, children, Camrin, Shawnte and Jordon, granddaughter, Chevelle Rose Charles, stepson, William Kilmer and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Terri will be missed by so many and remembered for her vivacious high-spirited personality and her extremely creative abilities and determination.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
