Tara Lynn Haws

Tara Lynn Haws, 56, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Eagar. She was born December 30, 1964 at Lajes Field Air Force Base, Azores, Portugal, the daughter of James Howard Mahaffey and Clara Lou Gay.

Tara would do anything for her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved cooking, quilting, and Ham Radio; Monday night Net Control, KI7KLJ (General Class). Beaches were good, but no boats. She loved being outside and up on the mountain going for drives. Tara liked to help others, was a hard worker and served others in family, church and community.

Tara is survived by her husband, Marcor Haws, Eagar; children, Rebelle (Nick) Anderson, Eagar; Jalan (Reagan) Haws, Duncan; 4 grandchildren, parents, James “Bull” and Clara Mahaffey, brother, Howard Mahaffey and sisters, Martha Williams and Kay (Mario) Lopez.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kennith Mahaffey.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Amity building, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Eagar Cemetery.
