Savannah Noel Luera

December 16, 2006 — May 3, 2025

St. Johns

Savannah Noel Luera, 18, passed away, Saturday, May 3, 2025 in St. Johns, Arizona. She was born December 16, 2006 in Show Low, Arizona.

Savannah grew up in St. Johns in the middle of a big, loud, loving family where siblings and cousins blurred together and family was everything. She was surrounded by people who knew her best, kept her grounded and helped fuel a childhood full of inside jokes, friendly chaos, deep connection and all the love you would ever need.

Savannah attended St. Johns High School, though if you asked her, she was mostly just counting down the days until it was over. Never one for sitting still or sticking to script, she found a faster path; thanks to some online classes. She entered her Senior year needing only two credits to graduate. She knew what she wanted and wasted no time getting there. Her favorite class when she showed up was art. It wasn't just the creative part she loved; it was the chance to hang out and "spill the tea" with her favorite teacher. She logged in quite a few volunteer hours doing concessions at football games, resulting in her winning Junior Prom Queen. She was excited for the future and endless possibilities.

Savannah was the second oldest of five kids and she liked to run the show. She was full of sass, wit, sharp comebacks and was always getting into mischief. Often the mastermind behind whatever plan was unfolding, especially if she could rope her sister Addison into it. She had a soft spot for teasing her brothers, loved cooking and baking; always testing out Tik-Tok recipes in the kitchen and could often be found cruising around town with a Diet Coke from Circle K with her music way too loud.

Beneath her boldness was a heart as tender as they come. She had a strong front, but loved deeply and gave generously. She wanted to give others the love she was so freely given. Her laugh was infectious and she had the most beautiful smile. Savannah was a whirlwind of energy, heart and humor and a one-of-a-kind soul who left a mark on everyone lucky enough to know her. She brought joy, laughter and a little bit of drama wherever she went. Her absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but her spirit will live on inside every inside joke, every blast of music from a passing car, every Diet Coke drank and every memory shared. She’s deeply missed, forever loved and will never be forgotten.

Savannah is survived by her mother, Krystal Hansen, father, Ryan Garcia, brothers, Ryder, Javier, sisters, Addison, Sienna and grandparents, Kamia Hansen, Carl and Tiffany Garcia and Lorena Hill.

She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Darrell Lee Julian.
