Ronna Lee New

Ronna Lee New, 84, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 in Goodyear. She was born October 11, 1938 in Long Beach, California, the daughter of Byron Eugene Brown and Ozeta Blanche Drews.

Ronna loved her dogs so much and they went everywhere with her. She was a homemaker and loved watching her soap operas and Sunday’s Nascar racing. In her younger days she loved the family weekend trips we made and shopping at thrift stores and antique shops. She loved all her grandkids and enjoyed the time she could spend with them.

Ronna is survived by her sons, Donny New, Eagar; Brian New, Apple Valley, California; Chad New, St. Johns; daughters, Tamala Dockery, San Bernardino, California; Raj New, 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard New, grandson, Cash New, granddaughter, Cherish New and parents.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery.
