Robert "Bob" M. Meador

Robert “Bob” M. Meador, 78, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in Springerville. He was born October 29, 1940 in Buckeye, the son of Cecil William Meador and Lela Mae Moody Meador. Bob was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather. His entire adult life was spent raising and loving his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His second love, after his family, was playing golf. He could be found on one of the area’s golf courses when not at home in Eagar. Bob was a sheet metal worker for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He worked hard his entire life and was an example to all his family and to his friends as someone who believed in the value of hard work. Bob is survived by his sons, Tim Meador, St. David; Rodney Meador, Eagar; brother, Kenny Meador, Springerville; 5 grandchildren, Derek, Ryne, Sheri, Robert, Dawson and 11 great grandchildren, Aiden, Jordin, Corin, London, Hailey, Kendall, Anniston, Skylar, Brooklyn, Jack and Juneau. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Ann Atherton Meador. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eagar Stake Center, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Eagar Cemetery.
