Robert "Bob" James Reese

Robert “Bob” James Reese, 85, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 in Springerville. He was born May 3, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Leonard Joseph Reese and Margaret Mitchel Reese.

Bob served his country in the United States Army from 1952-1954. After moving to Arizona in 1962 he enjoyed a career in law enforcement in Pinal County. He and his wife opened their hearts and home to 27 foster children while raising their own 3 children. His philosophy was “The More the Merrier.” Bob always had a positive and unique way of enjoying life and lending a helping hand. He moved to Eagar in 1993 and in 2008 joined the Eagar CVP program and remained active until his death. His love of family and life will be so missed.

Bob is survived by his son, William Reese, Arkansas; daughters, Patricia Hartman, Eagar; Cynthia Miller, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lillian Rozell and wife, Mitzi.
