Raj V. Pillai

Raj V Pillai, 61, passed away, Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Horizon Ranch in St. Johns, Arizona. He was born January 16, 1964 in New Dehli, India, the son of Vijayan Vihar Pillai and Retnamma Kandathil Puthanpura.

Raj was a consultant for 401kDirectPro. He was a loving father who gave his heart and soul to providing for those whom he cherished. He loved traveling with his daughter, Maya and his three dogs, Paddington, Demon and Nala.

Raj enjoyed good food, watching sports (go Badgers and Packers), the peace and comfort of living on the ranch, grilling and above all spending time with his daughter and dogs. The love and generosity he showed to everyone around him was an inspiration to all of those who knew him.

Raj will forever be in our hearts.

He is survived by his daughter, Maya R. (John Raymond Andrews) Pillai, Wilmington, North Carolina; mother, Retnamma Pillai and sister, Rema (Joseph V.) D’Alessandro.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vijayan Pillai and dog, Kanga.

A Celebration of Life in Arizona and Wisconsin will be announced at a later date.
