Patrick Charles Meyer

Patrick Charles Meyer, 64, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born September 15, 1957 in Harbor Beach, Michigan, the son of Floyd John Meyer and Dorothy Ann Wood Meyer. 

Pat graduated from Roseburg High School, class of 1975 in Roseburg, Oregon. Following graduation he worked many jobs including commercial fisherman, logger and working as an EMT. In 1984 while living in Rocks Springs, Wyoming, Pat was set up on a date with Judy Oellien and they were later married in 1985. Pat graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Pat worked at Tucson Electric Power for the last 18 years. 

Pat enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his girls play various sports. He was a life-long member of the Knights of Columbus and was the Grand Knight in St. Johns for a total of 8 years. 

Pat is survived by his wife, Judy Meyer, daughters, Trysta (Shawn) Rothlisberger, Juliann and Kara, all of St. Johns; grandson, Floyd Rothlisberger, (1) and his brothers, Michael, Wyoming; and Joseph, Oregon. 

Pat was preceded in death by his parents. 

A viewing will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., followed by Rosary in his honor at 7:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. Johns. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Interment will follow the services at St. Johns Westside Cemetery.
