Nellie Ida Cook Whitmore, 92, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026 in Show Low, Arizona. She was born December 24, 1933 in Ranburne, Alabama, the daughter of Sam Cook and Bethea Walker.

Nellie was a supervisor for Bremen-Bowden & Plunkett’s.

Nellie is survived by her daughter, Judy (Alan) Neal, Alpine; sisters, Catherine Robinson, Ranburne, Alabama; Carolyn Caldwell, Snellville, Georgia; and grandson, Jeff Crawford.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Whitmore and her sisters, Johnna Faye Sharp, Sandra Weathers, Lorraine Buchanan and Verbina McMahan.
