Miles Forrest White, 80, passed away, Thursday, December 14, 2023 in St. Johns, Arizona. He was born August 14, 1943 in Boise, Idaho, the son of Raymond Dee White and Rose Fern Wardle.
Miles graduated high school in Page, Arizona in 1962. He was the football star everyone still talks about to this day. He was a man’s man. He made a living as an iron worker on high rise buildings. Working the iron was his favorite part.
Miles married his high school sweetheart, Norma in 1962. They raised 4 fun-filled girls. Norma passed from cancer in 1996 – sad times. He found Dezma and they knew their love would last. Now he had 6 girls he could call his own.
All along the way he spent time with family camping, hunting, fishing; teaching all his grandkids how to do each one. He loved going to all sporting events his grandchildren participated in along with band concerts and plays…..everything.
He will be missed by so many.
Miles is survived by his wife, Dezma Page, St. Johns; daughters, Rhonda (Dan) Trickey, Concho; Christine (Jeremy) Cochran, St. Johns; Norma (Shawn) Thorn, St. Johns; Polly (Andrew) Page-Poteet, Topeka, Kansas; Kasey Page, St. Johns; and sisters, Karen Fletcher and Debbie Paz.
