Mildred Louise Thomason, 59, of Quemado, New Mexico, passed away, Sunday, September 7, 2025 in Springerville, Arizona. She was born February 18, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Mildred Thomason.
Mildred loved her grandchildren dearly. She loved Disney movies, WWE, crocheting and arts and crafts. Mildred worked as a server for Ryan’s Steak House, retiring in 2008. She loved to wear crazy socks and loved her animals, but most of all she loved her family and friends and dog, Gizmo. Her favorite music was Prince, Purple Rain, When Doves Cry.
Mildred is survived by her fiancé, Duke W. League, Quemado, New Mexico; sons, Kyle Dean Shockley, Quemado, New Mexico; Samuel Burchett, Xenia, Ohio; daughters, Jennifer Louise Shockley, New Paris, Ohio; Heather Marie Shockley, New Paris, Ohio; brother, Gerald Scott Thomason, New Hampshire; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, sisters, Kunita Thomason, Ivy Fett, niece, Kayla M. Thomason and nephew, Matthew Napier.
