Marie Adelle Carlsen

Marie Adelle Carlsen, 81, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 in St. Johns. She was born October 13, 1937 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Melvin Wade Freeman and Alice Cecelia Horn Freeman.

Marie was a hard worker and worked a variety of jobs to help support her family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, since she was 19 years old and enjoyed crafting, sewing and crocheting.

Marie is survived by her daughters, Janna Burt, Williston, North Dakota; Carin Carlsen, Gilbert; Joelle Hauser, St. Johns; brother, John Freeman, Colorado Springs, Colorado; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery. Interment will follow the graveside services.
