Lillian Marie Peters Tisdell

Lillian Marie Peters Tisdell, 76, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Sunday, January 13, 2019 at her home in Eagar. She was born September 9, 1942 in Springerville, the sixth of ten children of Johnny Andrew Peters and Vivian Brown Peters.

Lillian was the kind of woman this nation was built upon. She was a mother to many and a good friend to everyone. She lived her life in devotion to Christ and to her family.

Lillian is survived by her sons, Blaine (Wanda) Tisdell, Springerville; Colin Tisdell, Eagar; daughters, Cheryl (Cletus) Tisdell, Eagar; Ronda Davis, San Diego, California; brothers, Wayne Peters, Eagar; Lonny Peters, Eagar; Keith Peters, Gilbert; Bobby Peters, Eagar; sister, Nona Scott, Luna, New Mexico; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Romey “Sonny” Tisdell, son, Toy Van Tisdell and siblings, John, Roland, Rosalee and Arlene.

A Viewing will be held Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary, Eagar. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eagar Stake Center, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Luna, New Mexico Cemetery.
