Laura Lu Hall Stradling

With a heart full of love and a spirit that touched many, Laura Lu Hall Stradling, 80, peacefully departed this life, Friday, May 2, 2025 in Mesa, Arizona. Born on May 22, 1944 in McNary, Arizona to Theron M. Hall and Wanda S. Gibbons, Laura’s greatest love in life was her family, who were her greatest joy and pride.

Laura was preceded in death by her beloved children, Jason Longhcamps and Diana Griffin Goshy, as well as her devoted husband, Larry Stradling.

She is survived by her loving son, Steven Griffin, her cherished grandson, Sean Griffin and also Susan Foster and Frank Krantwashl.

Laura loved the outdoors; she would find and collect arrowheads and loved Indian culture. She was a hard worker and those that employed her knew they were in good hands. Laura didn’t have an easy life but she endured her trials well; she had great faith. Laura took wonderful care of her father until he passed away. She devoted herself to taking care of him. They enjoyed many scenic drives and stops at their favorite Mexican restaurants across the White Mountains.

Laura loved a genuine friendship, an icy cold Diet Coke, listening to her favorite country music, holding a baby, watching her yard grow and green up each Spring and telling people she loved, “you’re a gem." She was proud of her roots; Laura held a deep love and respect for her parents and family and the values they instilled in her. Her faith in God and the gospel was the cornerstone of her life, shaping her into the loving and kind person she was known to be.

Laura's warm smile and easy laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Rest in peace Laura. Your legacy of love will continue to shine through your family and friends.
