Eagar

Larry Richard Marin, 66, passed away, Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at his home in Nutrioso, Arizona. He was also a resident of Globe, Arizona, spending 6 months of the year at each residence.

Larry was born January 29, 1958 in Neubrucke, Germany, the son of Lorenzo Benitez Marin and Anna Erna Rindfleisch. He grew up and went to high school in the Morenci, Arizona area. Larry was a Senior Supervisor for Freeport McMoran, retiring in 2020. He was an outstanding athlete in many areas especially basketball. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, traveling, working hard and enjoying life. He was well loved by all who met him; creating a brotherly kinship, connecting with people immediately. He loved his family.

In addition to being an avid sportsman, his favorite place in the world was the White Mountains. He most importantly was a devout Christian and loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There is no doubt that the Lord took him home too soon but we know that he is in heaven with his Heavenly Father. His untimely passing is leaving everyone left behind devastated, in shock and heart broken.

Larry is survived by his wife, Donilyn “Deedee” Marin, sons, Jacob (Liz) Marin, Joshua (Nikki) Marin, Jordan Marin, daughter, Ashley (Ray) Morales, brothers, Joe (Nancy) Marin, Robert (Nellie) Marin, Ray (Barbara) Marin, D.J. (Ann) Marin, sister, Barbie (Timo) Maynes and 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and aunts and uncles.
