Kenyon Leone Peters

Kenyon Leone Peters, 51, passed away, Friday, July 18, 2025 at his home in Springerville, Arizona. He was born November 27, 1973 in Springerville, the son of Lewis Wayne Peters and Cathy Maxine Gillespie.

Kenyon was a loving son, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. He will be remembered for his fun sense of humor, hard work and dedication to the saw mill and surviving raising his 4 wild daughters.

Kenyon enjoyed being out in the mountains, whether he was out hunting for horns or hauling a load of wood. He enjoyed old western movies, collecting old coins, watching sports and planting a garden with his dad every year. We will miss his crooked smile and pigeon-toed walk!

Kenyon is survived by his daughters, Mariah (Steven) Puzas, Sadee (Trace) Beeler, Kylee (Dillon) Schabatka, Darcee (Julian) Becerra, parents, Wayne and Cathy Peters, brothers, Shawn (Jocelyn) Peters, Trent (Sheila) Peters, sisters, Tonya Peters, Tara (Ronnie) Gibbons and 8 grandchildren, Remi, Amory, Dexton, Brixton, Maezie, Ryli, Jordan and Boss.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Vivian Peters and Leone and Nellie Gillespie.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springerville building, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the services at the Eagar Cemetery.
