Jule Weston Butler

Jule Weston Butler, 88, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was born on April 4, 1933 in Greer. He was preceded in death by parents, Julius “Uley” Butler and Alva Hamblin Butler.

Weston was raised in Greer and Eagar. He went into the Air Force in 1950 and was honorably discharged in 1954. After the military, he married Barbara June Fite and they spent the majority of their lives in Alpine. Weston was a roofer and a cabinet maker for years and spent the remaining years before retirement driving the high school bus from Alpine to Round Valley. 

Weston is survived by his son, Jule Brandon (Stephanie) Butler, daughter, Christina Butler, four grandchildren and nephew and nieces. 

Weston’s final days were spent with a loving family, Joyce Rogers, Cheryl and Linda and her husband San, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. 

He will be missed!

A graveside service will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Eagar Cemetery.
