Cruz J Diaz Caballero

Cruz J. Diaz Caballero, 78, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in Mesa. He was born May 3, 1943 in Canutillo, Durango, Mexico, the son of Arnulfo Diaz and Rita Caballero.

Cruz is survived by his wife, Maria Luisa Diaz, sons, Heriberto Diaz, St. Johns; Hilario Diaz, St. Johns; Jose Juan Diaz, Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters, Teresa Diaz, Mesa; Bertha Diaz, Mesa; Maria P. Diaz, San Tan Valley; brothers, Natividad, Epifanio, Gregorio, Acension and Martin Diaz, 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Guadalupe Diaz and brothers, Eriqueta Diaz and Guadalupe Diaz.

A viewing will be held Friday, July 30, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary, St. Johns. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. Johns. Interment will follow the funeral Mass at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery.
