Jerry Louise Estrada, 85, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born August 13, 1940 in Tucumcari, New Mexico, the daughter of Charles Lewis Fortune and Olive Gallagher Fortune.
Louise is survived by her children: Danita Charlanne Estrada, Russell Glen Estrada, Kenneth Patrick (Kelley) Estrada; grandchildren, Michael Patrick, Sarah Leann, Emily Marie, Joshua Russell, Danielle Suzanne, Austin Russell; great-grandchildren, Spencer, Kinsey, Michael, Ezra, Dale, Brooks, August, Rome, Olive, Quinn; sister, Alberta Lea (Richard) Nicolds and her extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Daniel Estrada, their first son, Charles Daniel, their first granddaughter, Cassandra Kay and her parents.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Luna, New Mexico building, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the services at the Luna, New Mexico Cemetery.
