Jane Mary Richey

Jane Mary Richey, 69, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 one day before her 70th birthday. She was born September 17, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of David Stephen Muri, Sr. and Helen Winnifred Wilson Muri. Mary grew up in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania where she met her first love, Don Richey. They married and soon after moved to Arizona where they raised 3 beautiful girls. Mary was a wonderful, kind and loving homemaker, mother and wife. She loved the holidays and putting up all of her decorations. She was very passionate about her many talents that included, painting, drawing, dancing, sewing, cooking, cake decorating and her favorite, baking. Mary fought her illness for many years as a happy, loving person who could light up a room. She was ecstatic when she met her loving, Peter John, whom she spent the last 20 years of her life with. Mary made sure to teach her girls to be as talented, caring and loving as herself and was sure to try to instill the same into her grandchildren.Contributions may be made to youcaring.com memorial for Mary Richey. She was preceded in death by her father David Muri, Sr. and brother, David Muri, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, St. Johns Downtown Building. All are invited to a luncheon immediately following the services.
