Gloria Louise Turley

Gloria Louise Gray Turley, 84, passed away, Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Mesa. She was born October 6, 1937 in Miami, Arizona, the daughter of George Gordon Gray and Ruby Maryann Boggs.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Arland Turley, sons, Robin, Darren (Shirley), daughters, Sharilyn (Sal), Laurice (Jeremy), Arlene, and was blessed with 24 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Gloria and Arland were married over 60 years and served a mission together for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cleveland, Ohio. She taught 8^th grade Social Studies and Home Economics for years in St. Johns.

Gloria loved spending time with her family. One of her favorite activities to do with her family was to travel. She saw much of the United States with much of her family. Another one of Gloria’s loves was doing genealogy and temple work for her ancestors. She passed this love on to several of her granddaughters.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, St. Johns Downtown chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the services at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery.
