Glenna "Bonnie" Uvonne Maxwell West

Glenna “Bonnie” Uvonne Maxwell West, 91, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018. She was born October 7, 1927 in Kline, Colorado, the daughter of Archibald Hodge Maxwell and Nellie Rosalie Slade Maxwell.

Bonnie was a devoted wife and mother and dedicated to her family. She loved the many years she taught in Primary and loved to read, crochet and work in the garden. She was committed to exercise and walking. Her suitcase was always packed and she was ready to travel.

Bonnie is survived by her sons, William Jay West, Rimrock; Robert C. West, Queen Creek; daughter, Jolinda McCook, Tucson; 14 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James Wame West, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, St. Johns Downtown Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery.
