Gavin Joel Chavez

Gavin Joel Chavez, 30, passed away, Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Concho, Arizona. He was born August 29, 1995 in Long Beach California. He was the beloved and only son of Marcella Marie Hayes and Drew Victor Chavez.

Gavin graduated from Blue Ridge High School in Lakeside, Arizona. He later worked for Concho Fire Department. He was an avid gamer, enjoyed reading and he loved his pets. He is known for his quirkiness, wit and his kind heart.

Gavin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joel Chavez, grandmothers, Suzanne Hayes and Charlene Chavez and aunt, Laura Hayes.

He is survived by his grandfather, Bill Hayes, aunts, Claire Hayes, Carly Hayes and cousins, David Hayes and Jubilee Hayes.

His memory will be forever cherished. We miss you and love you always.
