Gary Dean Willis

It is with gratitude for a full life that the children of Gary Dean Willis inform the public of his untimely passing on December 30, 2023 in Greer, Arizona.

Gary was born on September 9, 1949 and has two brothers and one sister. He grew up in the southwestern United States, served in the United States Air Force, has four children and nine grandchildren.

Dad was a free spirit who loved to “howl at the moon” and “slay his dragons” until the sun came up. He enjoyed travel and the solitude of the outdoors. With a laugh that could light up an entire room, Gary had a magnetic personality bigger than life itself and was loved by all who had the good fortune of meeting this treasured man. He loved his family dearly and often spoke fondly of the many friends and associates who stood by him during his life. 

His children will honor his legacy, inspired by his passion for life. We thank all those who befriended, loved and appreciated our father.
