Edward Dean Long, 52, passed away suddenly, Sunday, April 19, 2026, leaving his family and friends heartbroken and deeply saddened by his unexpected loss. He was born June 28, 1973 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Robert Eldon Long and Carla Starr Talley. He was a loving husband, devoted father, proud pappy and a true friend to many.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Long, his children, Kylie Long, Robert Long, Jenica Kelly and so many others he raised as his own, his cherished grandchildren and many other loving family members who will continue to honor his life and memory.

Edward was a hardworking man who dedicated himself to providing for his family and ensuring they were always cared for. He had a generous heart and a compassionate spirit; always looking out for others and offering support whenever it was needed. To know Edward was to know someone who genuinely cared. His kindness and willingness to help left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Above all else, Edward’s family meant everything to him. He took great pride in being a husband, father and pappy and the love he shared with his family was the foundation of his life. His presence brought strength, comfort and joy to those closest to him.

Though he is gone far too soon, Edward’s love, values and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A graveside service will be held Monday, April 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Show Low Cemetery, Show Low.
