Dolores Ruiz

Dolores Ruiz, 46, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 in Show Low. She was born November 8, 1974 in Springerville, the daughter of Jaime Chacon Ruiz and Ida Rebecca Garcia.

Dolores is survived by her fiancé, Aldo Salais, sons, Jose Jaime Sanchez, Ramon Gabino Sanchez, daughters, Marisol Ruiz, Rebecca Sanchez, mother, Ida Ruiz, brother, Tony Ruiz, sisters, Angela Ruiz, Jaime Ruiz Watson, Anita Ruiz, Janet Ruiz and 7 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, Dolores and Socorro Ruiz, Tony and Vivian Garcia and great nephews, Benjamin Horn and Rikko Tafoya.

Dolores was known for being the crafty one of the family. She was most happy working on her projects. There was never a project too big for her. When she had an idea, she went with it and would do it. For those who knew Dolores, they would say that her laugh was contagious. She cherished her kids but adored her grandkids more. She was always full of joy.

A viewing will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. Johns, with Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the services at the Concho Catholic Cemetery.
