Deral "Bud" Irvin Simpson

Deral “Bud” Irvin Simpson, 85, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 in Springerville. He was born September 15, 1932 in Springerville, the son of Clarence Crittendon Simpson and Bessie Bell Childress Simpson. Bud was raised with his 10 brothers and sisters on the family ranch east of Springerville. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War from 1951-1954, where he traveled to Korea, China and Hawaii. He cowboyed and ranched most of his life and loved to be around his family. He loved the annual Simpson family reunion and was very loved and will be greatly missed. Bud is survived by his sons, Deral, Jr. (Angela) Simpson, Idaho; Edward Simpson, Oregon; Philip (Sue) Simpson, Snowflake; Dale (Melissa) Simpson, Illinois; Randy (Jessica) Simpson, Snowflake; Johnathon Simpson, Prescott; Kendrick Simpson, St. Johns; Emilio Simpson, St. Johns; daughters, Jessica, Idaho; Lenna (Steve), Idaho; Terri (Jeff), Colorado; sister, Cleo Tissaw, Cornville; and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Clarice, Hiram, Jess, Clayborn, LeRoy, Sterling, Hazel, Bessie June and Wanda. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springerville building, with visitation one hour prior.
