Darren Duval Jaramillo

Darren Duval Jaramillo, 64, passed away, Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in Chandler, Arizona. He was born May 20, 1960 in Apache County, Arizona, the son of Frank and Mollie Castillo.

Darren had a huge, soft heart. He was a naturally gifted athlete and was good at everything he did. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and exceptional fly fisherman. He worked for TEP for many years in heavy equipment, retiring in 2023.

As a father he never missed a game and would brag about his kids to anyone who would listen. He passed peacefully with his children by his side.

Darren is survived by his children, April Eagar, Springerville; Darrienne Jaramillo-Matson, Surprise; Durand Jaramillo, Eagar; girlfriend, Sonia Luevano, brothers, Cory Jaramillo, Frank Castillo and 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Teddy Jaramillo.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the VFW in Eagar.
