Daniel Lawrence “Boone” Hall, 79, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at his home in Springerville, Arizona. He was born June 28, 1946 in Snowflake, Arizona, the son of George Vee Leverton and Dorothalene Jones. Throughout his life he exemplified quiet strength and dedication to his family.
As a young man, Boone served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Northern Mexico Mission. His time there shaped his testimony and deepened his love for the gospel.
He married his eternal companion, Carolyn Sue Waite Hall and together they shared 55 beautiful years of marriage. They were blessed with 6 children, who were the center of his life.
Boone was a skilled carpenter by trade. He built beautiful things by hand. He leaves a legacy of hard work, craftsmanship and integrity. He took great pride in every project he touched. He was a rancher and hardworking man. Some of his fondest memories were of the ranch, family and lake trips.
He will be remembered for his dedication, hard work and steady quiet strength he carried throughout his life.
Boone is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Hall, Springerville; son, Jeremiah (Jenifer) Hall, Mesa; daughters, Tammy (Albert) Poe, St. Johns; Dana Stevens, Gilbert; Cabrena (Patrick) Holecek, Cary, North Carolina; Veronica Hall, Springerville; brother, Clay Hall, sisters, Jeanne (Mike) Udall, Beverly (Dennis) Ence, Nita (Wade) Morris, Leisa Hall, 18 grandchildren, 8 plus one on the way great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James “Jim” Leverton, sister, Brenda Gardea-Morris and daughter, Karissa Hall.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springerville building, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the services at the Eagar Cemetery.
