Carol Julene Gibson

Carol Julene Gibson, 77, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at her home in Eagar, surrounded by her family. She was born August 13, 1941 in Litchfield, Minnesota, the daughter of Thomas F. Noga and Beatrice M. Ficker Noga.

Carol moved to Eagar with her husband in 1966 and still resided there with her family. She enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carol loved to sew and owned a successful upholstery business and also a successful restaurant, “Lil’ Ranglers.” She will be greatly missed.

Carol is survived by her husband, Roy Gibson, daughters, Sheri (Darrell) Gilliam, Kearney; Ronda (BJ) Slade, Eagar; Brenda (Jerett) Coleman, Vernon; Cindy (Brandon) Gilliam, Eagar; sisters, Mary Jo (Mark) Jordan, Glendale; Teresa (Dan) Baumann, Grand Marais, Minnesota; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judy Noga.

A Rosary will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Springerville with a Funeral Mass following at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the funeral mass at the Springerville Cemetery.
