Carl Joseph Lightfoot

Carl Joseph Lightfoot, 31, passed away, Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in Vernon. He was born May 22, 1991 in Bellflower, California, the son of Joseph Edward Lightfoot and Rikki Lou Crockett.

Carl was the definition of a true cowboy, just like that of his dad. He lived for the ranch life; everything from bronc riding, roping, working cattle, shoeing horses and welding; he could do it all. When a job needed done, Carl did it and if he didn’t know how to fix it, he’d YouTube it.

Carl lived for his kids and nothing made him prouder than watching them learn his cowboy skills. They were his whole world.

Carl was as big and strong as an ox; hence his nickname, “Tuff”, yet he had a gentle heart that matched his size. He was sometimes quiet, but his dry sense of humor kept us all laughing. We will miss him dearly but know he will be riding by our side, spurs jingling, dog following, just like the cowboy he was.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 at 3 p.m. at The Ranch House Saloon, 691 W Snowflake Blvd. Snowflake, Arizona 85937.
