Bobby Dean Seabaugh, 88, passed away, Wednesday, December 25, 2024 in Eagar, Arizona. He was born April 16, 1936 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the son of Horace Seabaugh and Mammie Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Luana “Lou” Seabaugh, son, Kevin (Diana) Seabaugh, brother, Thom Seabaugh, St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Alice Jean (Don) Bowman, Cape Girardeau, Missouri; grandchild, Christy, great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Kallie and great-great-grandchild, Aliya.
He was preceded in death by his son, Terrance Seabaugh.
Bobby served in the National Guard in the 140th Infantry from 1954-1957 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He later moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1960 where he worked at Associated Grocery during the day and played music at night with Waylon Jennings at Franky's Bar and also J.D.'s Lounge until Waylon went on the road. In 1972 he then went on to play with Ray Corbon and the Raymen at Magoo's until Ray's death. From 1972-1988, Bobby worked for All American Distributing Co. as a truck driver during the day and played music with his own band called The Misfits at night at Roman's Toolies. He then moved to Flagstaff, Arizona and started his own trucking co. called B&L Trucking Co. until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and shootin’ pool, but his passion in life was being a musician.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the American Legion, Springerville.
