Barbara Bodily Brown

April 23, 1941 — June 11, 2019

Barbara Bodily Brown, 78, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, June 11, 2019. She was born April 23, 1941 in Fairview, Idaho to Sylvan and Althea Bodily.

After high school Barbara attended Brigham Young University where she met the love of her life, Myrlan A. “Andy” Brown. Barbara was married to Andy in the Logan Temple on March 8, 1963. They are the parents of five children, 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

After moving several times, they settled in St. Johns and raised their five children. In 2003 Barbara and Andy moved to Clinton, Utah then left in 2005 to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Texas Lubbock Mission. After their mission, Barbara was widowed in 2008.

Barbara served faithfully in many church callings throughout her life as well as in her community. She loved to serve her family and others.

Barbara is survived by her five children, Troy A. (Wendy) Brown, Show Low; Nancy (Brent) Call, Clinton, Utah; Mark B. (Nicole) Brown, Gilbert; Eric G. Brown, Queen Creek; Julie (Ragan) Bryce, Gilbert; 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and four siblings.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Clinton West Stake South Building, Clinton, Utah. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery, St. Johns.
