Austin Lee Slade

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Austin Lee Slade, 35, who passed away, Saturday, August 23, 2025. He was born July 6, 1990 in Springerville, Arizona.

Austin is survived by his loving mother, Tammy Slade, father, Everett Slade, brothers, Elwin (Tabitha) Slade, Pete (Audrey) Slade and his beloved son, Jackson, who was the light of his life.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Justin Slade.

Austin’s greatest joy was being a father. He loved nothing more than spending time with Jackson, whether cheering him on or sharing life’s simple adventures. He also found deep fulfillment in coaching, where his passion and encouragement inspired those around him. Austin loved the outdoors, whether he was in the mountain of by the water with a fishing pole; nature was where he found peace.

He will be remembered for his dedication, his laughter and the love he poured into his family and community. Though his time with us was far too short, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eagar Stake Center. Inurnment will follow the services at the Eagar Cemetery.
