Anthony Sample

Anthony Sample, 71, passed away, Tuesday, May 27, 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born June 12, 1953 in St. Johns, Arizona, the son of Demetrio Sample and Nellie Chavez.

Anthony is survived by his children, Anthony “Tony” Sample, Jr., Meranda Sample, Morgan Sample, siblings, Alfred (Cathy) Sample, Gladys Jaramillo, Robert Sample, Nora (Benny) Acosta, Ruben Garcia, Estella Sample, AnnaBelle (Eligio) Castillo, Yvonne Baca and brother-in-law, Joe Acosta.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Henry Sample, Lucy Acosta, sister-in-law, Rosalie Sample and brothers-in-law, Niche Jaramillo and Rooney Baca.

A viewing will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary, St. Johns, followed by Rosary at 2:00 p.m, followed by a graveside service at the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery.
