Aleesia Mai Whiting

Aleesia Mai Whiting, 72, known to her family as Steven Charles Lansberry passed away, Tuesday, August 26, 2025 in St. Johns, Arizona, born, August 30, 1952 in Phoenix Arizona.

Aleesia grew up in Hayward, California, graduating from Hayward High School in 1970, son of Violet Jacobs Lansberry and Maurice Ronald Lansberry.

Aleesia is survived by brothers, Donald Lansberry, Scott Lansberry, sister, Alice Santos, children, Amie Ann Marie Cook, Todd Micheal Steven Lansberry, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Aleesia served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1973, Airman in the maintenance squadron. Aleesia was a fabrication welder by trade and often combined welding skills with underwater fabrication. Diving was a passion as well as hunting and fishing and being in the outdoors.

She had many friends and family that will miss her.
