Rosie R Morales

Rosie R. Morales, 78, resident of St. Johns, passed away peacefully in her home Saturday, March 18, 2017. She was born September 23, 1938 in McNary, the daughter of Manuel and Alifonsa Ramirez. Rosie married Ramon Morales, Sr. on February 14, 1976. Together they raised their family; Albert John, Alfonso, Ramon and Boney. Rosie, a loving and kind woman, enjoyed baking and cooking for friends and family, playing 31, crossword puzzles and going to get “milk” after church on Sundays in Hon Dah. Rosie’s greatest joy was seeing her family together for any occasion. Rosie’s love for her family and friends was unconditional. She welcomed everyone into her home with open arms and food on the table. She had a strong devotion to her faith and prayed the Rosary faithfully every day. Thank you Mom! Rosie is survived by her husband, Ramon Z. Morales, sons, Albert (Tammy) Poe, John, Sr. (Lisa) Poe, Alfonso (Linnea) Morales, Ramon, Jr. (Mireya) Morales, Boney (Mattie) Morales, brother, Manuel Ramirez, Sr., all of St. Johns, 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bonifacio Ramirez, sisters, Patsy Tafoya, Della Bazan, Rachael Ramirez and Rosa Ramirez. A viewing will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. Johns. Rosary will follow at 10:00 a.m. and a Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the Funeral Mass at the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery.
