John Paul "LJ" Phelps

John Paul “LJ” Phelps, 25, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 in Eagar. He was born October 17, 1991 in Show Low, the son of John Owen Phelps and Susan Marie Burbach Phelps. LJ had a kind heart and gentle soul. He will always be remembered for his mischievous grin and kind acts of service. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing him was left a better person. We will forever be grateful that he picked us as his family. LJ is survived by his parents, sisters, Kristen (Matthew) Lueker, Eagar; Pamela (Luis) Quintana, California; Katie (Travis) Turnbow, Idaho; grandparents, Beverly Burbach, Eagar; Pamela Phelps, Eagar; John C Phelps, Eagar; nieces, Kadence, Tylee, Liliana and nephews, Rueger, Cameron, Dutch, Benjamin, Nicolas, and Cooper. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Burbach and cousin, William Dwayne “Billy D” Harris. A viewing will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 18, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eagar Stake Center at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Eagar Cemetery.
