Frances Marcille "Marty" Schaffner

Frances Marcille “Marty” Schaffner, 88, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in St. Johns. She was born February 15, 1928 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of George Lee Rennick and Bessie Louise Colley Rennick. “Marty” was known to be a funny and sweet friend. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have met her. She was the mother of 3 children and is survived by her son, Freddy, Jr., 4 grandchildren, Karen, Kristine, Kim, Jennifer, 11 great grandchildren, Kimberly, Justin, Amanda, Matt, Jared, Jacob, Ashley, Kimberly, Cameron, Keith, Kirsten and 2 great, great grandchildren, Ari and Isabella. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Riley and her parents. A Viewing will be held Monday, November 7, 2016 from 9:00-9:45 a.m. at Burnham Mortuary, St. Johns with Graveside Services following at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery, St. Johns.
