Rosita "Rose" Chavez

Rosita “Rose” Chavez, 84, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 in Springerville. She was born July 12, 1931 in Red Hill, New Mexico, the daughter of Jacobo T. and Pilar Aragon Orona. Rose was a wonderful mother and a sweet presence in all of our lives. She had great faith and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our family would like to thank family and friends for their kindness, prayers and support. Rose is survived by her children, Herman (Jamie) Chavez, AnnaBelle (Phillip) Chavez Salazar, Joey Chavez, Patrick (Karen) Chavez, Roxanne Chavez (John), Jonathan Chavez, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and seven siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Nick Chavez and six siblings. Rosary will be held Friday, July 8, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Springerville. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
