Janet Marie LaRocque

Janet Marie LaRocque, 69, passed away Tuesday March 29, 2016 with family members by her side in St. Johns. She was born August 11, 1946 in Irvington, New Jersey to Ernest Alfred LaRocque and Regina Lilliane Gauthier. Janet loved gardening and sending birthday cards every year to family and friends. She enjoyed reading and playing games. She had a ready smile and cute giggle. She had a love for bookkeeping and in her later years put herself through school to earn a degree. She always said she loved to dress nicely each day with her hair and makeup done. She was a true lady. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Alfred LaRocque, and her mother, Regina Lilliane Gauthier. She leaves behind two children, Todd William Howard and Melissa Suzanne Waite, St. Johns; 4 siblings, Mike LaRocque, Linda Gaskins, Annette LaRocque and Mark LaRocque and 9 grandchildren, Abbie, Jacob, Lydia, Brooke, Rachel, Trevor, Betsy, Esther and Braxton. Janet loved flowers so flowers would be much appreciated. Monetary donations will also be gratefully accepted.
